Supporting Farmers This Christmas

Why Your Festive Feast Matters

As the festive season approaches, many of us turn our attention to delicious food, festive feasts, and family gatherings. But have you ever thought about where your Christmas table's bounty comes from? This year, you can make a difference by supporting local farmers and producers.

The Heart Behind the Harvest

In Wiltshire, we have some brilliant local farmers who pour their heart, soul, and generations of expertise into producing high-quality food. Buying local means you’re not just purchasing produce; you’re investing in family legacies, sustainable farming, and the community around you. For farms like us at The Farm at Avebury and others across the country, every sale helps preserve rural traditions and maintain beautiful landscapes. Direct-to-farm sales create bonds between producers and consumers. You know where your food comes from, and you support your neighbours.
