The best Walks Around Avebury

Boasting breathtaking vistas and neolithic stone circles, Avebury is popular territory for keen and casual walkers alike. There are a number of local landmarks to find amongst the landscape of this world heritage site including Silbury Hill, West Kennet Long Barrow, Windmill Hill and of course Avebury Stone Circle, all of which are within easy reach of The Farm.

We are very dog-friendly and have been featured on Dog Friendly Destinations which is a fantastic resource if you’re looking for places to enjoy with your pup. They suggest enjoying the nearby strolls as well as the quaint village of Lacock and a dog-friendly pub pit-stop for a bite to eat.

Below, we’ve shared some of our favourite walking routes and on our website you’ll find other local activities around Avebury as well as some shorter routes planned specifically for little legs! If you’re staying with us in one of our stables you’ll find a handy walking guide complete with QR codes for you to use during your stay.
